Nina (F, 10yo)
In March of 2024, I met Nina, a gentle senior cat with so much love to give. Her journey has been heartbreaking—after her owner tragically passed away at home, Nina was left to fend for herself until she was finally found.
My client, a flight attendant, inherited Nina and hired me to care for her while away at work. Despite their best efforts to rehome her, Nina’s future became uncertain. I stepped in, found fosters and potential adopters, and even offered to cover the cost of transport to her new home. But before that could happen, Nina was surrendered to a local kill shelter.
That was in June, and as a senior cat surrounded by kittens, Nina was at high risk of euthanasia. An RVT at the shelter confirmed this risk to me directly. I called the shelter daily until they allowed me to claim her.
Since then, Nina has been blossoming in my care. She’s an affectionate velcro kitty who adores attention and would thrive as the only pet in a home where her person is often around. When she’s not basking in the sunshine or kicking her catnip banana, she enjoys lounging by your side and window-watching.
At 10 years old, Nina is microchipped, spayed, strictly indoors, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She is FIV/FeLV- and has no medical conditions.

Cleo & Socks (F, 1-2yo)
During the last week of November, I learned that one of my former foster kitties, Socks, and her friend Cleo, were surrendered to a shelter in San Diego. Socks holds a very special place in my heart because she’s a former foster kitty of mine and the daughter of my foster-fail, Sweetie.
With the assistance of their original rescue and Tina’s Tini Rescue, I was able to have the girls claimed, picked up and brought to a foster on my behalf. Since bringing Cleo and Socks back to my home, they have returned to being silly and affectionate kitties.
Socks is very social and adventurous, while Cleo tends to be affectionate and shy. The girls are bonded and need to go to a home together. They are both spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. They are FIV/FeLV- and have no medical conditions.
